LED Industrie: a bespoke WordPress theme for industrial services in Sinzheim

LED Sinzheim GmbH commissioned the theme for all group domains: four brands, four websites, visibly related yet independent – the same technology, but its own domain, colour and content per brand. For LED Industrie: a B2B presence that explains services and maintenance contracts to plant operators and leads from every page to an enquiry or phone call in one click. The brand appears in public, while LED Sinzheim GmbH is the contracting party – which had to hold in legal notice, footer and copy.

The website runs on the LED Theme, a WordPress theme developed in-house by NK IT Service. One theme serves all four domains of the group; which brand an installation shows is a setting – for LED Industrie a dark design with a green accent colour, its own favicon (the icon in the browser tab) and its own hero pattern (the graphic background of the header area). The three-column mega menu (a large drop-down panel) sorts the eight services into the groups plant operation, maintenance and service; the sticky header (a header bar that stays visible while scrolling) keeps the “Beratung anfragen” (request a consultation) button and the phone button within reach on every page. The Open Sans typeface is hosted locally, the hero slider (rotating large images in the header area) uses the locally bundled Swiper library (the script that drives the slides), and no page builder is involved.

The content is built by the in-house plugin “LED Site Bootstrap”: it creates pages, menu, logo, master data, contact form, legal texts and posts at the press of a button, and the process can be repeated as often as needed. For LED Industrie this produced 17 pages and four posts from the same codebase that also powers the websites of LED Elektro, LED Service and LED Holding. No third-party plugins are needed for this: the contact form with a changing arithmetic question, a honeypot (an invisible trap field for bots) and a nonce (a one-time token against forged submissions), the cookie dialogue with the categories “necessary” and “external maps”, a settings window and a withdrawal link, and the Google Maps embed that loads only after a click and consent are all part of the plugin.

NK IT Service wrote the copy: eight detailed service pages of roughly 480 to 640 words, each with five FAQs, plus About us with a timeline, a services overview, references, careers, news and contact. The pages carry their own meta block with a description (the short text shown in search results), a canonical (the preferred address) and Open Graph tags for sharing on social networks, as well as structured data: LocalBusiness (company details) and WebSite on the home page, FAQPage (questions and answers) and Service (service description) on the detailed pages, BreadcrumbList (path navigation) on the subpages. A dedicated XML sitemap lists all 21 addresses, the first hero image is preloaded, the WordPress version tag has been removed from the source code, and the server sends security headers (protective instructions in the server response) that stop the site being embedded in third-party pages and browsers second-guessing file types.
